Welcome to the Timed Out blog! Timed Out is a south Charlotte escape room business located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, North Carolina.
We opened in July 2018, after considerable time branding and building our location. We focus on delivering incredible team-oriented escape room experiences to the residents, businesses and employees of south Charlotte. We’re excited by what we’ve accomplished so far. We’ve created our brand, built a great team, and delivered outstanding service and experiences, and we’re optimistic that the best is yet to come.
What’s on our minds?
We thought we’d share some of our learnings, aspirations and insights to help others build a love for escape rooms. We’re excited to help companies harness the power of escape rooms and support effective team building. We’re enthusiastic to highlight how Gallup’s CliftonStrengths assessment can focus the challenge of an escape room experience on individual and team strengths ultimately drive team performance. Plus, we’ll be sharing a bit about what happens behind the scenes as we conceptualize, build and operate our Charlotte escape rooms.

Learn how to maximize fun (and minimize time!) for your escape room experience. Get the inside scoop on some of the mechanics and technology that power our puzzles. Stay tuned for some insights into how we create our rooms and puzzles. Hear some of the often humorous things that our team sees and hears as players tackle our escape rooms.
